Travel advisory: From now until the end of Pesta Ubin, expect delays at peak periods at Changi Point Ferry Terminal as the pontoons there are being maintained. During normal weekends, peak periods are around 8.30am to 12noon. From Maritime and Port Authority Port Notice no. 70 of 2017.

Drop by Teck Seng's Place, a demonstration house of what a kampung house used to look like. Friendly volunteers and staff will be there to share stories and show you how to have fun kampung style.

24 Jun (Sat): Sketches in Ball Point Pen by Francis Theo with NParks
Mr Francis Theo loves capturing the unique charms of Pulau Ubin with his sketchbook and ink fountain pens. Come sketch with him as he shares his passion and special techniques at the Ubin Living Lab. Suitable for participants aged 12 and above.


24 Jun (Sat): U-Bin-It with Singapore Environment Council
The less we see, the less will follow. Volunteer with us as we spruce up and keep trash off Pulau Ubin’s Sensory Trail!

24 Jun (Sat): Ubin Night Walk with Strix Wildlife Consultancy
Join this very special Ubin night walk under the umbrella of Strix Wildlife Consultancy led by Subaraj Rajathurai, the foremost nature guide in Singapore. This walk is supported by the Herpetological Society of Singapore. Your guides are experienced and knowledgeable field naturalists, so expect amazing encounters and delightful discoveries during this special walk at Pulau Ubin. As well as fascinating stories about the history and heritage of Pulau Ubin.

23 Jun (Fri): MAD for Musang! for kids with Cicada Tree Eco-Place
Common Palm Civets or 'musang' live in urban Singapore. And yes, on Pulau Ubin too! If you are curious about what these small native carnivores look like, what they feed on, who may feed on them, and why they are important to humans.


24 Jun (Sat): Ubin 4-Rivers Trail by kayakasia
For the first time, we will attempt to link four rivers inside the heart of Ubin, paddling them as one single waterway! Pulau Ubin is crisscrossed by many waterways. This special trip will explore all of this intricate river systems, linking various waterways in a closed loop within the island. Lunch will be provided.

24 Jun (Sat): Wildcraft at the Living Fisher Village
Wildcraft: The Art of Survival - Reignite your primal instincts! Have you always longed to reconnect with nature? Here’s your chance to reignite that primal instinct through our WILDCRAFT workshop, and experience the art of buschraft and urban survival (prepping) with your friends and family!

25 Jun (Sun): Rural Nature and Kampong Culture Walk with Cicada Tree Eco Place
Join Cicada Tree Eco Place to experience a quaint kampong vibe and the laid-back lifestyle of the people living and working on their tropical island home, and see retro architecture. We start our walk into the rural countryside on Ubin’s Sensory Trail, bypassing bountiful kitchen gardens and fruit orchards. We peek over fences to look at wooden kampong houses and their outdoor kitchens and toilets. Our route will go through a herb, spice and vegetable plot, and also coffee and jasmine plantations. We then walk on bunds through mangrove forests to spot mudskippers, kingfishers and tree-climbing crabs.

Besides visiting Uncle Ah Kok, arrange to visit an Ubin fish farm, go day or night kayaking or take a boat ride in the mangroves. Also, nature mountain biking!
