16 Jul (Sun): Photo Exhibition curated by Clarice Lee with Singapore Heritage Society

Pulau Ubin has become a favourite hangout for many nature lovers and adventure seekers, but what is it like for a resident on the island?

Having lived on the island for more than fifty years, Aunty Lee Hua has experienced life on Ubin since its heyday to today. Around five years ago, Aunty started capturing images of the daily sights around her after she received a digital camera from her daughter. PHOTOS OF MY BACKYARD presents a selection of images taken by Aunty Lee Hua, which provides us with a glimpse into her unique experience of living on Pulau Ubin.

Presented by the Singapore Heritage Society, the exhibition is curated by filmmaker and photographer, Clarice Lee. This event also falls under the Kawan Ubin initiative, as part of the Friends of Ubin Network (FUN).
